What: An 18th century manuscript of Gannat, or ‘History of the Fathers’. A later hand has added the names of the months in different languages, also the distribution of the races springing from the sons of Noah, and another later hand has added the ‘Comparison of the Lights of Heaven’.

Provenance: Listed as part of the “Magdala collection” in William Wright’s Catalogue of the Ethiopic manuscripts in the British Museum acquired since the year 1847
