What: A manuscript dated 1638 and 1647, including historical and chronological fragments viz., brief chronology of the Roman and Byzantine emperors, from Marcus Aurelius to Heraclius I., calculations of different epochs, tables, dates in Ethiopic history, down to the reign of Yakob and Za-Dengel (1603-4); The writings of Mar Isaac of Nineveh; The work entitled Aragawi Manfasawi, or “the Spiritual Teacher” See OR 529; Works of Evagrius.

Provenance: Listed as part of the “Magdala collection” in William Wright’s Catalogue of the Ethiopic manuscripts in the British Museum acquired since the year 1847
