What: A copy of a large theological treatise, directed against various heresies, compiled by the monk George, the disciple of Antonius the Syrian. Generally known, for shortness’ sake, by the name of Talmid or “the Disciple.” Neatly written, by several hands, about the end of the 17th century.

Provenance: Listed as part of the “Magdala collection” in William Wright’s Catalogue of the Ethiopic manuscripts in the British Museum acquired since the year 1847
